Our Philosophy
The Future Leadership Foundation exists to develop leaders of churches, institutions and Christian groups. This philosophy of ministry is described in the following statements:
- FLF serves as a coaching Christian ministry organization to help national leaders learn how to articulate their needs to achieve God-inspired goals.
- FLF coaches leaders to identify resources these leaders believe they will need and how to gain access to those resources themselves.
- FLF expects leaders, churches, ministry organizations and religious entities to behave in a partnership model. This means:
- All parties bring something to the table to achieve the goal. It is not equal gifts but equal sacrifice.
- All parties are expected to be authentic and reveal complete and accurate information in their conversation and goals.
- All parties must hold an attitude of tolerance and understanding as they deal with the variations in cultures.
- All parties will honor the values and priorities of each as all seek a common ground on which to work.
- FLF sets external goals and action plans only in harmony with national partners who are affected by them.
- FLF leverages resources on an as-needed basis after national partners complete an application process. The Board of Directors must approve all applications to be serviced.
- FLF requires accountability of its resources. Budgets must be submitted with the application process, and all budget items are subject to clarification.
- FLF enjoys being an inclusive model by connecting multiple partners to join the assets of nationals as they move to achieve their God-given vision.
- FLF wants to remove barriers that prevent individuals, churches and organizations from achieving their vision.
- FLF believes that when those who coach or who invest in FLF’s ministry can observe on site the coaching process there is a response that cannot be duplicated in any other way.
- FLF wants to encourage Christian leaders around the world to consider coaching others where God leads them to develop their own Christian ministry.
