Leadership Team
Roger Hatfield, Executive Director:
Roger's first taste of developing global leaders came when he was on a church staff in 1980. Then, it was the Far East. In the 1990's he assumed the church leadership helm for a state denomination for an international partnership. In this century he and his partner Verlyn Bergen began this foundation to focus on training national leaders, primarily all over Eastern Europe but open to a ministry on a global scale. It is one of the passions of Roger's life.
Gary Collins, Treasurer:
Gary is Senior Vice President at Hawthorn Bank and former president of the Missouri Baptist Foundation with years of experience in the financial field. He is a CPA and has a MBA from MU and currently works with other local non-profits such as Salvation Army and the Special Learning Center. He also serves on The Baptist Home Foundation. Gary and his wife Carol are active members their local Baptist Church.
Ken Enloe, Operations Team Leader:
Ken is Director of Marketing and Business Development of Huber and Associates, Inc, an IT Solutions company located in Jefferson City, MO. Ken served local churches in Mississippi and Missouri as Minister of Youth and Recreation before beginning a thirteen-year management career with the State of Missouri, Department of Elementary & Secondary Education, and then joined Huber's staff in 1998. Ken and his wife Karen are members of a Baptist church where they serve as youth ministry leaders. Ken also works in the missions arena where he gets to focus on one of his high callings - connecting to believers and unbelievers both here and abroad.
John Jackson, Assoociate Executive Director:
John is Minister of Music at First Baptist Church, Farmington, Missouri. John has served as minister of music in Farmington for 35 years. Over the years John has been on numerous global mission projects — teaching and equipping leaders from churches and seminaries in six countries, including those in Eastern Europe. John has been active for all of his ministry life in local church, associational and denominational ministry. You may contact John at jwj@flfmissions.org
Larry Land, Technology Team Leader:
Larry retired after working for 40 years for McDonnell Douglas and IBM in aircraft design and Information Technology. Larry enjoys building and working with PCs as well as determining how technology may be used to further the Kingdom. Larry has been on mission trips to three continents and is humbled by the commitment of the believers that he has met.
Larry and his wife Sharon are members of a local Baptist church in the St. Louis area where Sharon works with children and Larry works with adults in the Bible Study ministry. They have two married children and one grandchild.
Ken Satterfield, Public Relations Team Leader:
Ken is a natural to give leadership to the Public Relations arm of the Future Leadership Foundation. He has worked for denominational causes for years in video and other church communications. Ken is the Advertising/Marketing Coordinator for the Word and Way, a state Baptist paper in Missouri, where he writes a media column and knows how to connect information to readers. Ken and his wife Alice are members of a Baptist church where they connect to the music ministry leading Bible study and church media. They are both proud of their two sons.
Carolyn Swanigan, Personnel Team Leader:
Carolyn is Office Manager, Office of Child Advocate, State of Missouri. Carolyn has worked for the State of Missouri almost 15 years providing administrative assistance with the Office of Administration. Carolyn provides assistance to the Board of Directors serving as the volunteer personnel team leader of FLF. Carolyn and her husband Rand are members of a Baptist church where they actively support the youth, choir and hospital visitation of the church. Carolyn also develops and implements publicity for the Women's Ministry programs.
