Verlyn Bergen, Member-At-Large:
Verlyn is co-founder and co-owner of MinistryConnect and pastor of Nashville Baptist Church, Ashland, MO. As a denominational leader, Verlyn led a state-wide effort for Eastern Europe to support 25 new church plants and develop pastoral leadership training. Rodger Cobb, Member-At-Large:
Rodger gave managerial leadership within a national manufacturing corporation for many years. Rodger engages his business and financial wisdom with several start-up and long-time companies as well as this foundation. He is a registered professional engineer. Rodger serves as a deacon in his local Baptist church as well as a member of strategic ministry teams and committees.
Norma Houston, Member-At-Large:
Norma is a children’s teacher at First Baptist Church, Camdenton, Missouri. Norma and Virgil have lived in the Lake of the Ozarks area all their married life and raised their five children there. Norma has been to Eastern Europe numerous times in the past eleven years to coach preschool and children’s leaders of local churches. Phil Hunt, President:
Phil and his wife Ruthetta are members of First Baptist Church in Ellisville, Missouri, where Phil is active in the deacon widows' ministry. After retiring from a 34 year banking career, Phil served 6 years on the staff of the Missouri Baptist Foundation in the areas of estate planning, stewardship education and development work. John Jackson, Secretary of the Board:
John is Minister of Music at First Baptist Church, Farmington, Missouri. John has served as minister of music in Farmington for 35 years. Over the years John has been on numerous global mission projects — teaching and equipping leaders from churches and seminaries in six countries, including those in Eastern Europe. Stephen E. Mathis, Vice-President:
Stephen is a CFP® and Executive Vice President of the Missouri Baptist Foundation in Jefferson City, Missouri. Stephen has directed estate and gift planning services for twenty years. Prior to this, he served as a management consultant for a Fortune 500 agribusiness firm. He, his wife, Nancy, and two children are active members of a Baptist church.
