Normal office hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. (08:00 – 16:00) Central Time. Daylight Saving time, or Summer time, starts in the USA on the second Sunday in March and ends on the first Sunday in November.

The office is closed on the following American holidays:

• New Years Day, 1 January
• Presidents Day, the third Monday in February
• Good Friday, the Friday before the Western celebration of Easter
• Memorial Day, the last Monday in May
• Independence Day, 4 July
• Labor Day, the first Monday in September
• Thanksgiving Day, the fourth Thursday in November
• Christmas Day, 25 December

E-mail and Skype chat messages left for FLF outside normal office hours or on a holiday will be answered on the next working day. The FLF staff may voluntarily work in support of FLF’s international partners after hours or on holidays.
